I use watercolour and mixed media to paint landscapes, townscapes, gardens and plants. As well as paintings I will be showing cards and limited print editions.

I have been involved with Art and Design for as long as I can remember. It was always my best subject at school and my parents encouraged me to study it at University. I joined the Fine Art course at Newcastle upon Tyne just when the concept of Basic Design was being introduced into Art Colleges, based on the Bauhaus principles. It has influenced my way of looking and seeing ever since. I specialised in Textile Design and taught it for many years, but since I retired watercolour painting has been my greatest interest... and I am still learning.

STUDIO: Small purpose built studio where there will be work in progress. Access from the house with paintings on display.

DIRECTIONS: Bus number 30 to Dore. House and studio 5 minutes walk from terminus. Go to Causeway Head Road (Co op on your right) Turn left for 200yds then cross road and take path through flats to Rushley Road. Turn left .No 38 is 200 yds on the right.
