Life is complicated and untidy. My tiles and ceramic sculptures concentrates on personal journeys we take. I incorporate domestic objects introducing light humour to balance the seriousness of life changing decisions.

I am a Ceramic Artist based in Sheffield; I studied BA (Hons) Fine Art, at Leeds. I create large earthenware tiles and small ceramic sculptures.

My wall-mounted tiles present a quirky, humorous take on the trials and tribulations of becoming a parent. My work illustrates childhood themes, embedded within pieces are mementoes that link to memories. I Utilise cast replicas of toys and impressed detail to explore relationships and emotions. A playfulness approach is used to highlight concerns for the future.

My work is at once familiar and unique. The work invites the viewer to make their own interpretations according to their personal experience. I also accept commissions on a variety of subjects to suit the needs of the purchaser.

I exhibit in many venues across Yorkshire and deliver a range of workshops to various ages/abilities and cater for groups/individuals. I can devise themed workshops for your specification.

STUDIO: My studio/home is a Victorian house that has been renovated in a contemporary style with restored original features.
