Works shown here are inspired by local places – the moors, valleys, woodlands and streetscapes of Sheffield.

Paintings and drawings which aim to evoke the experience of a meaningful time and place. Each piece has its own impetus – an evening walk along a ridge, shifting light across a blustery moor, the traces of past industry in a disused factory yard.

Works shown in ‘Open Up Sheffield’ are inspired by local places – the moors, valleys, woodlands and street-scapes of Sheffield.
