I enjoy dynamic interaction with spinning clay creating lasting, rippling forms. I make functional and sculptural pieces for the home and the garden.

Spinning clay gives out an energy, which I attempt to capture. Much of my thrown work consists of fluid sketches in clay with surfaces that ripple and undulate. My aim is to achieve a harmony of balance and proportion that allows the forms to stand alone, visually centred.

I choose glazes and firing methods to suit individual designs. Pots range from functional bowls, mugs and planters to more sculptural signature pieces.

STUDIO: Cherry tree studio is a light and pleasant garage conversion overlooking a beautiful wildlife garden.
