My current work explores inward and outward light. I work with acrylics on canvas and gouache, watercolours and mixed media on paper.
In my current paintings I am exploring inward and outward light, and finding stillness and calm within movement and confusion. I find inspiration in nature - especially skies and the experience of changing light and weather; and in the writings of the mystical traditions of Quakers, Christianity, Hinduism and Sufism.
I work with acrylics on canvas and gouache, watercolours and mixed media on paper. My technique is a fluid use of colour, building up layers to create a sense of depth and spaciousness.
